trip recovery

I just haven't done anything the last few days. Vacations take a lot out of you.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to talk to Matt, though. I'll have to see if I can get ahold of him before I leave tomorrow.

Today was a little different. Mindy's home, but yesterday she went to visit a friend in K-W. Since I'm not doing anything else, I mostly followed my parents around today. We went to my aunt's retirement party thing, where I was the youngest one there by at least 15 years. The food was good, though. After that, we went to a concert at the new Empire Theatre. The Trentones are the local chapter of the Society for the Preservation & Encouragment of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.). I wasn't quite the youngest person there, but I was certainly well, well below the average.

I managed to get away with a free ticket back to Kitchener. I've already used up the allotted twelve travel days on my CanRail Pass thingy, but they neglected to count one of the days between Edmonton and Toronto. So I got an extra free trip!

I've still got a bit of running around I've got to do tomorrow. But I did manage to pick up Invader Zim and the Reboot 4.0 DVDs for under $25 each. Although it would've been nice if we found those in Edmonton...
