about the flying squirrel

The flying squirrel is not a real person. He is an illusion; a shadow. He is a reflexion—a virtual image of someone who lives out in the real world somewhere. The flying squirrel shares this person's imaginings, dreams, history and experiences, but if you were to meet said person out in the real world, after coming to know the flying squirrel through his writing here, you may be surprised. Or possibly disappointed. That's not to say that what is written here is not true... far from it. The image here is perhaps a little clearer than that which one might see in real life.

Or maybe he's just making all this up.

It may be kind of sad, but the flying squirrel desperately wants you (yes, you!) to like him. He's a very complex character, and he's just starting to figure that out. He'd be terribly flattered if you helped him along a bit, and read through some of this stuff and tell him what you think. Unfortunately, it's long and not very interesting, so he's not seriously expecting many takers. Still, a squirrel can dream, can't he?
