I don't have any White Stripes records though. I'm just not cool enough.

Obvious really. I can't say I've heard much of their music, but they strike me as yet another pretentions conformingly non-conformist indie rock band. Yawn. They might very well contain coded messages for anti-globalization urban guerillas or something, but I doubt that would make them any more interesting.
