soupy dayIt was very hard to breathe this morning. The air is thick and heavy. It feels like the Mother of All Thunderstorms is coming our way. The smoke alarm went off when I got out of the shower (which is its wont when it's too humid). I hate that stupid thing. I don't think the breathing troubles were helping my subconscious either. Especially since I have the alarm clock radio set to slowly nudge me into consciousness starting at about 7:30. I woke up from a dream where I was wandering around the CNE with Paul Martin and Jean Chretien, and I was complaining loudly about how incredibly stupid it was that some gas station was tying up traffic with some free gas giveaway. So a storm's coming and here I'm heading back to Belleville after work. I decided to go home for the long weekend. Why? Mostly because I promised my grandmother I'd come and visit more often. I'm so nice. My parents are hosting a barbecue for my aunt and uncle on Saturday. Other than that, I think I'll be focusing on laundry. And reading. So I'm pretty much free. I'll try to get ahold of Matt and see if he's up for anything. I've taken Tuesday off to (hopefully) make travelling easier. I'm still predicting a bit of a nightmare on the roads. A bunch of DVDs came in yesterday. Berserk vol.3 arrived in my mailbox and I picked up G Gundam boxes 2 and 3 from the post office at lunch (wading through the soupy air). Speaking of which, Matt, you really should watch Berserk. I'll bring the first couple DVDs. I'll let you borrow them till the next time I get down. comments:This post is archived.
