stupid inflation
Apparently, I won silver in this year's Election Guess poll. I didn't even know until zaldan pointed it out.
I made myself buckle under and get a bunch of stuff done today, only to discover that I couldn't actually build (and therefore test) anything. That's frustrating. I'm at work right now because I'd forgotten my glasses, and my mom was asking whether I had Easter Monday off. (I do. Woot!)
It's still not building. I'll have to come in on Sunday, probably.
I don't really have any plans for the weekend at the moment. I'm considering this a good thing. It's looking like the weather will be nice, so I'm probably gonig to be out cleaning up the yard and/or in cleaning up the house.
Speaking of which, I just got a letter today telling me that my mortgage rate is going from 4% to 5.1%. That was... unexpected. In practical terms, this means an extra $~100/month, which I can deal with. Still, I should probably be paying more attention to interest rates. Now I feel bad for spending a bunch of money on stupid crap I don't need. But not too bad. After all, Me and My Katamari rules.

Wow! Squirrel, I am impressed!
So with such good guessing talent, maybe you should start investing in lottery tickets--do you have the kind where you can pick your own numbers? Then you wouldn't have to worry about interest rates climbing, you could just pay the house off altogether!
Oh, and Spring is just about here, whoo! Got your mower at the ready? I've already got several planters planted, and a couple more flats of pony packs patiently waiting (it rained most of this weekend, phooey). I will be *furious* if we get one last freeze... ! This year, I am going with larger quantities of Petunias. They are pretty enough, come in many lovely colors, and are much harder to kill than some of the other flowers I optimistically brought home last year...

I kinda cheated a bit, in that I was basing my numbers off of electionprediction.org. So I can't claim super-awesome election prediction skillz.
You're a little bit further along than we are, spring-wise. The ground was still frozen in spots when I was out raking last weekend. I don't know if I'll be making too much headway in the garden this year (hopefully I can fix up the damage from not preparing very well for winter, at least). I've got lots of inside projects that are going to be keeping me busy...
