On the plus side around here, anyway, I haven't written more blog posts in a year since 2010.
(I tied 2013 and 2024).
A year ago I expressed some confidence I'd be able to move into the new house last year. That didn't happen, my friends. For reasons I shan't go into. This year definitely, tho.
Our little guy (pictured above) continues to be an absolute joy and delight.
Okay, scanning last year's bullets, I guess I mostly talked about TV and videogames. I've already written blog posts about those and said most of what I'd care to say at the moment. Imagine!
Still kind of amazed I actually managed to get the blog converted.
Still kind of bummed RSS redirects didn't work. At least not for my RSS reader.
I did actually turn 50, as predicted.
We're still mostly in a holding pattern waiting for the house to get done. I guess I never did post pictures. I might. We'll see.
I did manage to get Home Assistant up and running at the new house and I can turn lights on and off with my phone. Which I'm still very much enjoying. Maybe I'll post something about that...
