post-party wrap-up
Oh dear god, I just slept for ten hours. And now I\'m up. And the sun isn\'t. This is so weird.
Thanks to everybody who came to the party. It was awesome. It was also very awesome that Bill was able to come down. Thanks to everyone who brought food, although I\'m kinda sad it didn\'t get eaten as much. (I just had one of Sam\'s muffins, which was nice, \'cuz my breakfast options are pretty limited otherwise. It\'s going to be about five hours before the Shane the Bagel Boy shows up at work for my usual breakfast...). For those who couldn\'t make it, I hope we get a chance to hang out soon enough. :)
Frag, on its own, was actually more fun than I thought it would be, despite the RPG-like record keeping and the steepish learning curve. Now that I know how to play, Frag Zombies!!! looks even more awesome. We\'ll have to try that ASAP. I picked up Bohnanaza based on a recommendation... I thought it was neat, and I\'ll play it again, but I\'m not sure I\'ll be rushing out to buy expansions.
My sister was supposed to show up at 9am Sunday morning to drop off furniture. Thankfully she waited till noon. She moved into a new apartment and doesn\'t have room for this stuff now. She got me up, but I suppose it was going to happen sooner or later. I now have a bunch of crap (well, more crap) taking up space in my future home theatre room. *sigh*. I\'m really going to have to start making progress on this home improvement stuff in the new year...
I was in a bit of a daze all day, and I just crashed at around 8pm. So I woke up at around 5am. And now I think I\'ll get ready for work. On the upside, this means I\'ll be able to leave work early and do some Christmas shopping tonight. Because I\'m a bit behind. :P
