plans (?) for the long weekend.
Yay! Long weekend!
I\'ve got a three day week next week, since I\'m taking Friday off for AN.
Tomorrow I\'m heading to Toronto for a book club meeting thing. I\'m not too sure about what I\'m doing the rest of the weekend. That\'s okay. Relaxing is good. I\'ll probably have to mow the lawn. Which means I\'ll probably have to buy a lawn mower.
As for AN, Bill tells me our hotel has free WiFi, which rocks. I\'m still not sure how this thing is going to work, though. I figure AN will mostly involve hanging out with people (the best part), complaining about how everything sucks (pretty normal) and feeling guilty for buying anything.
I had a bit of a scare with my finances earlier this month. Suddenly an unexpectedly large chunk of my bank account went missing. That\'s a bit irritating. I just found out that it\'s because somehow my mortgage is currently on monthly payments (when I told them biweekly), so it\'s not a great catastrophe or anything. I just paid property taxes for half the year. That was fun. I think I\'m okay, but I\'m still a bit nervous about spending.
Not that that\'s very interesting or anything. Sorry. It was either this or politics. I could just post nothing, but it\'s been nearly a week and I was starting to feel bad.
