no lumber gundam
I took a trip down to Fairview this afternoon to see if I could find Neo-Canada's Lumber Gundam. (You have to love the toque). Unfortunately, it looks like the Kitchener Toys R Us has scaled back their Gundam section. Sad, really.
Just so as not to make my trip a complete waste, I decided to buy a new bed instead.
I kinda need it, so I'm not completely crazy. And I've been putting it off for months for no very good reason. So there you go. It's much nicer than the bed I have now (even when it was new), the price isn't horrendous, and it arrives Saturday. I can't wait, really. Coziness!
Dammit, the EB at the mall had the Godzilla GameCube game on for $20. Why didn't I see that before AN? I can't, in good conscience, pay $ 60 or whatever it was before. $20? Sure.
The weekend was good, overall. CTRL-A went well, I think. I've decided, though, that, despite nostalgia and being able to just grab a seat in the back row, I think AL is the better venue. The hallway outside the room in EL was a tiny bit crowded and noisy. Also, I feel kinda bad that I was a bit anti-social after the Saturday show. Sensory overload or something. Loud music doesn't really agree with me.
